SPARC Digital Repositories Meeting

SPARC, in partnership with SPARC Europe and SPARC Japan/National Institute of Informatics, announces the next installment of the popular SPARC Digital Repositories Meeting will be held November 8 & 9, 2010 at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.

As repositories expand as core components of the world’s fast-evolving digital infrastructure, four key trends have been identified by the program committee for deeper exploration at the meeting, including:

•    Repository-based publishing strategies,
•    Global repository networks,
•    Open data, and
•    Making the case for financial sustainability.
