 OpenAIRE provides value-added services towards end users, e.g.  tailored views on document statistics produced either from bibliographic measurements, or from the impact gathered from user actions from the participating OpenAIRE compliant repositories and the OpenAIRE portal.

This document aims to specify a usage data format to be used in a usage data harvesting protocol implemented by inistitutional or thematic repositories,  to specify the data model to be internally used for the representation of the harvested usage data used during the aggregation and statistics calculation processes, and the integration of this model into the general OpenAIRE data model
