Mihaela Cucu has been working as an expert on implementing national and international projects within the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI). She has been involved in a lot of EU funded projects on research and higher education in the last ten years, including the one aiming to elaborate the national strategy for research and development and the project creating the Romanian platform for the European research area. She was an adviser at the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research for one year.
