Beate Eellend, PhD [F]is the Open Access Coordinator at the National Library of Sweden. She Cooperates with HEI’s, funders and researchers in Sweden as well as organizations in Europe, in order to support and strengthen the national and international development of open access and open science. Also, she works with information and advice, development of infrastructure and services & policy coordination in a broad societal context. She cooperates with the Bibsam Consortia, where off-setting deals and other issues on open access are highly prioritized, as well as with the coordinators within the national publication database and repository SwePub, in order to strengthen and support the transition to an open access publishing system. She serves as the Swedish NOAD in OpenAIRE and as the open access/open science expert in the Swedish advocacy platform for H2020 programme “Science with and for Society”.
