A year ago, the action plan for the Swiss National Strategy on Open Access has been approved by the plenary assembly of swissuniversities and has been subsequently endorsed by the governing board of the Swiss University Conference. As of 2020: 100% Open Access to SNSF-funded research in Switzerland

Researchers who are applying for Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) project funding will have to supply a data management plan (DMP) as of October 2017.
