EOSC Winter School 2026
The EOSC Winter School is an initiative of EOSC-A and the now-completed EOSC Focus project, taken up in response to the collaboration needs of the Horizon Europe EOSC-related projects. Organisation of the 2026 event has been taken up by the EOSC Gravity project, in cooperation with EOSC-A.
The third edition of the EOSC Winter School, set in Nice, France from 27-29 January 2026, will employ its now well-established format to deepen the collaboration between the EOSC-A Task Forces, the EOSC Opportunity Area Expert Groups, and the HE INFRAEOSC projects. The 2026 edition introduces a new central group of experts on which the collaborations will focus, the EOSC Federation Build-up Group.
To foster exchange between the Build-up Group and the wider EOSC ecosystem, the EOSC Winter School 2026 features a brokerage event where EU projects, Task Forces, and OA Expert Groups are invited to pitch implementation-ready solutions to selected candidate EOSC Nodes. This event takes place in addition to the usual “core ” EOSC Winter School activities.
