At this month's session, we’ll share what we’re currently working on to expand the MONITOR's dataset-focused indicators, capturing how data is cited, linked, and described across the research lifecycle. These developments aim to provide a fuller picture of data visibility, integration, and responsible reuse.
We’ll present our work in three areas:

Data Citation (Direct & Indirect): detecting when datasets are cited directly or referenced through related outputs to support reuse tracking.

Linked Outputs: identifying explicit links between datasets and associated publications.

Enhanced FAIRness Signals: building on existing FAIR indicators with additional metadata and access checks to evaluate data practices more comprehensively.
