OpenAIRE AMKE has been commissioned, under the auspices of the HEAL‑Link consortium, to build a new national research-activity monitoring infrastructure for Greece, named "ABACUS". ABACUS system will aggregate bibliometric, Open Access and research-output data across Greek institutions, enabling policymakers, funders and academic organisations to obtain a comprehensive and transparent view of research performance and Open Science uptake.

The project’s purpose is to provide specialised technical and research support in the field of biomedical sciences, particularly focusing on data analysis, information systems integration, and digital infrastructure maintenance. The service aims to enhance the operational efficiency of research platforms and ensure compliance with institutional and national standards for data management.

The Open Science Agora Consortium, led by Athena Research Center, with EGI Foundation, OpenAIRE AMKE and Netcompany Intrasoft SA as key partners, are the recipients of the European Commission's DG CNECT public procurement tender, "Managed Services for the European Open Science Cloud Platform (EOSC) - LOT1" to build, deploy and operate the Core Federation Services of the EOSC EU Node. The EOSC EU Node is expected to provide access to a diverse portfolio of FAIR data and professional-quality interoperable services across various domains, including data handling, computing, processing, analysis, and storage.
