OpenAIRE is pleased to introduce a refreshed user interface for the PROVIDE Dashboard, designed to make managing and maintaining your data sources easier than ever. This update is part of our ongoing effort to enhance the usability and accessibility of OpenAIRE services, making it easier for data source managers to work efficiently and confidently.

What’s new?

While the core functionalities of the PROVIDE Dashboard remain unchanged, users will benefit from:

• A cleaner and more modern look that improves readability and overall interaction.
• Streamlined navigation that helps you quickly access key features.
• A more intuitive user experience, reducing the number of steps and clicks required to complete key tasks.
• Improved consistency with other OpenAIRE services, supporting a more seamless experience across services.

These improvements are based on feedback from the community and reflect our commitment to supporting providers with tools that are reliable, clear, and simple to use.

Data source dashboard – Overview: Home page of the data source dashboard, with an overview of all functionalities and highlights from the aggregation history, statistics, metadata enrichments and notifications.

Menus – new position: One of the main differences from the previous interface is the positioning of the menu items.

• Register a new data source
• Validate your data source with the OpenAIRE Guidelines (Validator)
• Access the Notifications you have subscribed
• Manage your registered data sources

Menu options at the data source level:

• Dashboard home page
• Update data source information, interfaces, admins and terms of use
• Aggregation History with information about the metadata aggregation stages
• Enrichments: browse for metadata enrichments and subscribe to these events
• Usage Counts: access to views and downloads statistics and get statistics reports
