A follow-up to the 2008-2009 survey of the status of implementation of the 2007 Council Conclusions on scientific information in the digital age. The Directorate-General for Research and Innovation have now released their second survey of the national Open Access policies in Europe.

Research Area (ERA) and the Innovation Union to create a Europe-wide open space for knowledge, research and innovation to thrive, the Commission has taken the initiative of updating the collective knowledge available on the situation in Europe with a second questionnaire to ERAC Members and Observers"
