PASTEUR4OA’s Knowledge Net to be embedded within OpenAIRE

pasteur4oaPASTEUR4OA and OpenAIRE are delighted to announce that PASTEUR4OA’s Knowledge Net activities to support the development and alignment of open access policies in Europe will continue as the Knowledge Net is integrated into the OpenAIRE infrastructure from September 2016. As the PASTEUR4OA project draws to a close, this will ensure the ongoing sustainability of its vital activities within one of Europe’s major Open Science e-infrastructures.

OpenAIRE's Webinars: slides online

OpenAIRE offered six open webinars on OpenAIRE compatibility for repositories with Pedro Príncipe, José Carvalho, Paolo Manghi and Alen Vodopijevec on March 18 and on April 1. The webinars outlined the OpenAIRE Guidelines: Guidelines for Literature Repository Managers; Guidelines for Data Archive Managers; Guidelines for CRIS Managers; and focused on how to implement the literature guidelines in DSpace, EPrints and other repositories, highlighting the recent updates in the OpenAIRE infrastructure and the main changes in the last version of the guidelines.

185 people from 32 countries (Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Nepal, the Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Turkey, the UK and USA) attended.
