Project
EOSC4ALL
EOSC4ALL ( HORIZON-INFRA-2025-01-EOSC-01-101292412) will make participation in the EOSC Federation simpler and more accessible by lowering the technical and organisational barriers to deploying an EOSC Node. The project will deliver the GÉANT Digital Research Environment, a managed platform aligned with the EOSC Node Reference Architecture, and use it to deploy six production-ready EOSC Nodes. It will also provide federating capabilities for Authentication and Authorisation Infrastructure and Enterprise File Sync and Share, enabling organisations to connect services and research outputs securely across institutional, national and disciplinary boundaries. Through training, sustainability planning and reusable deployment solutions, EOSC4ALL will support the wider uptake and long-term operation of EOSC Nodes across Europe.

The EOSC4ALL project envisions a truly inclusive EOSC Federation, where deploying an EOSC Node is simple, fast, and accessible to all eligible organisations. By lowering entry barriers, EOSC4All aims to empower researchers and institutions to access, share, and discover services and research outputs seamlessly and securely across institutional, national, and disciplinary boundaries.
EOSC4ALL will enable this vision by delivering the GÉANT Digital Research Environment (GDRE), which is a multitenant managed platform offered as a service (PaaS) fully compliant with the EOSC Node Reference Architecture and providing all the Node Core Capabilities. On the basis of the GDRE platform, EOSC4ALL will deploy six production ready EOSC Nodes (SWITCH, DeiC, HEAnet, Pro-M, Cynet, GÉANT) ready to join the EOSC Federation.
Next to delivering the GDRE platform and the six EOSC Nodes, EOSC4ALL will deliver the AAI and EFSS EOSC Federating Capabilities and easy solutions for EOSC Nodes to enable the AAI Node Core Capability and EFSS Node Generic Capability. Through these solutions EOSC Nodes will be able to easily join the AAI and EFSS EOSC Federating Capabilities.
The GDRE and the easy solutions for the Node AAI and EFSS capabilities will be offered to EOSC Nodes enabled through the GDRE platform and to the wider GÉANT and EOSC community. EOSC4ALL will also deliver business and sustainability plans to demonstrate that the EOSC4ALL results will be sustained beyond the lifetime of the project and will also deliver a well-designed training programme, including “Train-the-Trainer” modules for the organisations that will deploy EOSC Nodes built on the GDRE.
