Esther Georgiou
Esther Georgiou holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and a Master’s degree in Global Health and Crisis Management from the Medical School at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has a diverse background in administrative support, research, and digital tools, complemented by significant experience in educational content development and project coordination.
Currently, Esther serves as a Project Assistant and Trainings Associate at OpenAIRE, where she supports the development of training materials, organizes meetings, and coordinates various project activities. Her previous experience includes working as an Administrator at The Home Project, managing the administrative and financial operations of a shelter for Unaccompanied Minors, and conducting research with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Greece, focusing on migrant pushbacks. Additionally, Esther has held roles at the Greek Embassy in London and the Centre of European Constitutional Law (CECL) in Athens, further broadening her expertise in both international and operational environments.
Esther has strong organizational and analytical abilities, is proficient in Greek and English (C2 level) and holds a C1 Sorbonne degree in French. She is skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting platforms, and digital tools for administrative tasks.
