The purpose of the meeting is to explore synergies and opportunities for cooperation between the
European Open Science Cloud, EOSC, EU-funded projects of relevance for the reform of research
assessment, and the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment, CoARA, including through the
activities of its Working Groups.

The objectives are:

• To provide an update of the CoARA activities and Working Groups, including their main
  objectives and areas of activity.
• To present the European Open Science Cloud, EOSC, a key EU (open) infrastructure for sharing
  and disseminating scholarly content (publications, data, and other digital research outputs)
  and to highlight their potential to enable the CoARA vision.
• To present the main lines of activity of selected EU-funded projects of relevance for the reform
  of research assessment.
• To identify possibilities for cooperation between CoARA, EOSC and EU-funded projects and initiatives for reform of research assessment.
