Opening Research Assessment
The conference on Opening Research Assessment, where the results of the GraspOS project will be presented, will engage in discussions on transforming research assessment into a system that is open, responsible and aligned with the principles of Open Science.
The GraspOS project supports the emerging policy reforms and paves the way for a responsible research assessment system that is fully aware of and integrated with Open Science practices. GraspOS focuses on developing, assessing, and operating an open federated infrastructure designed to aggregate open resources that can catalyse the implementation of relevant policy reforms.
The Conference will not only showcase the key outcomes and insights of the project, but will also feature invited talks and expert panels addressing critical topics for advancing a responsible research assessment system that fully embraces Open Science principles including:
- Open infrastructures for responsible research assessment
- Transparency and inclusivity of the assessment processes
- Recognition of contributions to Open Science
We also invite poster contributions aligned with these themes by anyone interested. The call is now closed, submissions will undergo a peer-review process.
The conference will be followed by the final event of the CoARA Italian National Chapter on the afternoon of 13 November. Registration is required.
