Meeting funder requirements: Navigating Open Access Publishing – TUBITAK example

As part of Open Access Week 2025IZTECH Library, an OpenAIRE member, is hosting three online webinars, supported by the PATTERN project, which promotes Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (Open RRI) for researchers at all career stages.

This session is organised in collaboration with TÜBİTAK-ARDEB.

Who should attend:

Academics, researchers, postgraduate students, project managers, research support staff, and librarians

  • 15:00 – 15:30 | Compliance Strategies & Monitoring
  • 15:30 – 16:00 | TÜBİTAK Case Study & Q&A

Learning outcomes:

Participants will gain the skills to comply with funders’ Open Access requirements, identify reliable repositories, and understand and meet funder obligations using recommended tools. They will learn to apply Plan S principles, manage licensing for publications, distinguish between licenses, archivable publication versions, and journal policies, and understand the specific funding requirements of TÜBİTAK.
