Giulia Malaguarnera is a Life Sciences researcher with experience across academia, industry, European policy, and research stakeholder engagement. She holds a PhD in Neuropharmacology and has worked at the University of Catania, University College London, and in the private sector in France as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow.

At OpenAIRE, she specialises in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, Open Science services, and institutional subscriptions, supporting research organisations and communities in identifying and adopting solutions suited to their needs. She is a former President of Eurodoc and a member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association, where she served as Secretary and Board Member, contributing to European policy and advocacy on Open Science, researchers’ skills and careers, and Higher Education.
