2 proposers day 0 smallICT Proposers' day 2016 in Bratislava, Slovakia on 26 and 27 September is a networking event promoting European ICT Research & Innovation and focusing on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-17 in the field of Information & Communication Technologies.

This event falls during the Digital Week and will offer a unique and exceptional opportunity to build quality partnerships with academics, researchers, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe.

The Horizon 2020 Pillar on Excellent Science will be covered by three networking sessions.

The e-infrastructure topic will be addressed during a session on the e-infrastructure and the European Open Science Cloud that will give an opportunity to potential participants to get an overview of the call topics and to discuss potential co-design opportunities in the context of Platform-driven e-infrastructure innovation (EINFRA-21-2017) as well as integration and consolidation opportunities in the context of Data and Distributed Computing e-infrastructures for Open Science (EINFRA-12-2017). During the session, potential e-infrastructure users will have the chance to explain their ideas and needs while e-infrastructure service providers will present their offering.

A networking session on FET Open for novel ideas for radically new technologies will address the H2020-FETOPEN-2016-2017 call. This call supports the early-stages of the science and technology research and innovation around new ideas towards radically new future technologies. It also funds coordination and support activities for such high-risk forward looking research to prosper in Europe.

In addition, a networking session on HPC PPP is organised to encourage informal discussions between stakeholders participating in the event. The goal is to enable a broad and multidisciplinary dialogue, help participants find partners for a collaborative relationship, enlarge and enhance stakeholder communities and better connect research to innovation.

Registrations are now open for the event and for presentation during the sessions.

In parallel, there will be information booths dedicated to e-infrastructure and to FET Open & HPC. There, the projects and the EC will have the opportunity to present their main achievements, network with potential new partners and maybe build consortia.

The full programme is now available.
