The new Crete Declaration responds to this challenge by bringing together leading research infrastructures and e-infrastructures to commit to a unified One Health approach, one that links human, animal, plant, and ecosystem health through open and FAIR data practices. This shared vision calls for greater interoperability, stronger global partnerships, and sustainable investment in the scientific resources needed to address crises at scale. OpenAIRE has joined the coalition, reinforcing the importance of trusted, open, and AI-ready research pathways as the foundation for effective One Health science and policy. |

From 15-19 December 2025, the Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp will bring together 20 selected participants for an intensive, hands-on programme to build skills in Open Science, research data management, FAIR principles, and training delivery.
Through expert-led sessions and collaborative exercises, this bootcamp continues to strengthen an international community of Open Science trainers.
