ABACUS: Greece’s New National Service for Research Intelligence based on Open Infrastructure |
HEAL-Link, the Greek national academic consortium, has taken a decisive step towards Open Infrastructures by launching ABACUS (Academic Bibliometrics & Assessment Computational Utility Service) in collaboration with OpenAIRE. Greece is breaking new ground with a national service that brings research outputs, impact and Open Science indicators together in one place, powered by the OpenAIRE Graph. ABACUS enables institutions to monitor publications, citations, Open Access compliance, funding links, and collaboration patterns, supporting transparency, responsible assessment, and evidence-informed decision-making at national level. The project has just launched and is entering an intensive delivery phase, with a tight and focused implementation timeline. |
