Elli Papadopoulou holds a BSc in Library Science and Information Systems and has had professional training in data and service management. Her experience includes occupation in international research and academic working environments in both traditional and digital library positions (information point, archives, digitization and records management, data audit).

Since 2017, she has been working for Athena Research & Innovation Center where she is highly involved in projects that promote, integrate and/ or enhance Open Science best practices at european, national and global levels (EOSCpilot project, OpenAIRE, RDA/ RDA-Europe, Hellenic Data Service - HELIX, NI4OS-Europe).

Particularly for OpenAIRE in Greece, Elli contributes in: 

• supporting European funded projects coordinated by Greek institutions to comply with Open Access and Open Data requirements

• community building and training of the academic and research communities in vital aspects of Open Science and FAIR Research Data Management

• promoting interoperability of repositories through the OpenAIRE Metadata Guidelines and facilitating their adoption by institutions and service providers

• policymaking and implementation based on the OpenAIRE Open Science Policy templates and in alignment with ongoing EOSC discussions
