Short Bio:
Prof. Dr. Marina Razmadze currently serves as the Deputy Director and Researcher at the Central Institute for Scientific and Technical Information – TECHINFORMI. She holds a PhD in Computer Science and has accumulated over 17 years of extensive experience in both administrative and research capacities. Her expertise spans a wide range of areas within Information Technology and Systems (IT&S), Computer Science, Data Research, Information Management, and Information Analysis, gained through her work at various state and private educational institutions and organizations both locally and internationally.

Dr. Razmadze plays a prominent role in the European research community, serving as a National Contact Point (NCP) for Horizon Europe in the field of Research Infrastructures and as a member of the national Open Science Team, coordinated by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia. Her experience includes the successful coordination and implementation of numerous research projects funded by prestigious programs such as Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, the National Shota Rustaveli Foundation, the International Education Center of Georgia, FAO, DAAD, and Horizon Europe’s EOSC Future. Since July 2024, Marina Razmadze has been serving as an R&D Expert with the UN Committee of Experts on Food, Agricultural, and Rural Statistics (UN-CEAG).

In addition to her project management experience, Dr. Razmadze has a strong academic presence, delivering international seminars and lecture courses to graduate and postgraduate students in computer science and data analysis. She is also a published scholar, co-authoring two monographs and contributing numerous scientific and technical articles to both local and international journals.
