1. Making your repository or OA journal OpenAIRE compatible with Horizon 2020 OA requirements: Moderated e-learning course and a webinar on May 2-6, 2016

Would like to know more on how to make your OA repository or OA journal OpenAIRE compatible with Horizon 2020 OA requirements? Join this FOSTER/OpenAIRE moderated e-learning course on May 2-6, 2016 and attend the webinar on May 6 at 11:00 CEST.
This course is targeting repository managers, data archives managers, librarians, journal editors and publishers, data providers, research managers and administrators.
Objectives:
      Understand of the OpenAIRE infrastructure and content harvesting
      Identify the OpenAIRE guidelines metadata specifications, levels and OAI sets
      Define the levels of compatibility based on specific needs and technical context
      Identify and implement system configurations, tools and facilities for repository platforms
      Use the OpenAIRE validator tool for compatibility tests and registration

2. Open Access to publications in Horizon 2020: Moderated e-learning course and a webinar on May 9-13, 2016

Target audience: researchers and students, project managers, librarians and repository managers.

      The context of the Horizon 2020 Open Access mandate
      Compliance with the Horizon 2020 Open Access mandate by depositing publications into repositories
      Reuse of deposited publications in Horizon 2020.

On May 13 at 11:00 CEST a one-hour webinar will be organized, providing the course participants and all others interested with the opportunity to get a deeper understanding of the compliance issues, and receiving answers to their questions and doubts.

5. Open Science Training for National Contact Points (NCP)

FOSTER and NCP Academy (the project in a nutshell) organise a series of webinars on topics of relevance to National Contact Points supporting Horizon 2020 applicants across the European Research Area (ERA).
The training webinars content is structured around FOSTER Open Science Learning Objectives for funders. NCPs are introduced to why and how Open Science can optimize impact and how to support Horizon 2020 applicants.
