About
Executive Board Chair
Joeri is the Vice Director at the University Library of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He heads up the Research Support department including the topics of Open Science, RDM and Research Intelligence. He is a member of the Dutch national Research Support working group of the Royal and University Libraries in the Netherlands. He was involved in the drafting of the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information and building up the Dutch national research portal in OpenAIRE. His leadership extends to fostering collaboration with various library consortia and managing strategic library operations to support academic research.
