PARTNERSHIP

Interconnected knowledge is better knowledge.

In an effort to align our services and ensure more researchers find their way around FAIR data, OpenAIRE and FAIRsharing have signed a MoU to work together to improve repository, standards and policy metadata. In practice this is about exchanging metadata between OpenAIRE Research Graph and FAIRsharing,with FAIRsharing becoming an authoritative registry for OpenAIRE.

Altmetrics: what do researchers really think about it and how does it help them?

The DFG funded *metrics project has developed a deeper understanding of altmetrics and their perception amongst researchers. Understanding and using metrics is not simple, especially as context, patterns and openness emerge. A detailed analysis reveals key issues such as the need for full transparency, and systematic training around the topic.

Extended OpenAIRE service portfolio for EOSC

The OpenAIRE Nexus H2020 project started on Jan 1, 2021 marking a new phase in our work. OpenAIRE's extended portfolio is built around three pillars, PUBLISH - DISCOVER - MONITOR with 14 services (3 new brought in by our new members) that cover all phases of research life cycle ready to be fully integrated in EOSC.

What's new? We set out to enhance the delivery of our services by adopting full product management tools, to link them together towards an end-to-end experience, and most importantly to bring you, the users, in the loop from the beginning.
