Participate in the Open Science Fair

Binding policies and research flows, infrastructures and services with people


NIARXOS2OpenAIRE, along with our partner EC-funded initiatives OpenUP, OpenMinTeD, and  FOSTER, will hold the Open Science Fair in Athens, Greece, on 6-8 September 2017. The aim of the event is to showcase the elements required for the transition to Open Science: e-infrastructures and services, policies as guidance for good practices, research flows and new types of activities (disseminate, mine, review, assess, etc.), and the roles of the respective actors and their networks. Follow thought provoking presentations and discussions on the French Law for open access (OA), research data, researchers’ digital identity, OpenAIRE and obligation to deposit; get ideas on how to run lively workshops on OA (how to speak about OA with your aunt Janine at the Christmas dinner for example); and check out a goose game to explain OA while playing (the source files are available on Zenodo) and WillO: a legal tool to assist in depositing in OA repositories. Researchers can now deposit in the main French open access archive HAL just by a few clicks thanks to Dissemin

It allows researchers to measure the accessibility of their publications and put those which are not available yet, online just by a few clicks. No need to manually enter metadata (title, authors or other identifiers), these are automatically filled in by Dissemin.
