The Governing Council of the University of Barcelona (UB) approved last June 7, 2011 the mandate for open access under the name: "Open Access Policy at the University of Barcelona," which states that "any member of the academic community will deposit an electronic copy of his/her academic publications in the Univeristy of Barcelona Institutional repository"
