In early August we wrote about the current status of the conversation that started in early 2023, regarding the future of repositories in Europe. This has been an ongoing topic of interest for the open science community, especially since OpenAIRE, LIBER, SPARC Europe, and COAR presented a joint effort to “map” the possible future developments around the use and evolution of repositories. 

An integral part of this effort is the input of the individuals actually using repositories and practicing open science, i.e. all of you! To better gauge this input, the consulting partners composed and launched a survey to help organize all the information. This project has been running through all of August, inviting all members of the consulting partners to offer their own opinions and predictions. The survey has been very productive and as such, the partners have decided to extend the deadline beyond the last day of August, till the 13th of September.
