OpenAIRE and IPERION HS Collaboration
OpenAIRE and the National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSLC) are partnering to enhance open science by improving research visibility and infrastructure interoperability between Europe and China. This collaboration focuses on aligning metadata standards and advancing the data management systems of PubScholar and the OpenAIRE Graph through workshops, data exchange protocols, and joint development of key functionalities.
By co-developing OpenAIRE Guidelines and fostering open access practices, this partnership aims to build a global network for sharing open science infrastructure, improving the accessibility and trustworthiness of research. Through this three-year initiative, OpenAIRE and NSLC will enrich academic collaboration and strengthen global open science practices.

OpenAIRE and IPERION HS teams will collaborate to ease the discovery of research Products in the domain of Heritage Science and the tracking of research outputs of the IPERION HS infrastructure, providing statistics and indicators useful for reporting, monitoring the impact of IPERION HS in the research landscape and its contribution to Open Science. OpenAIRE will offer a CONNECT Gateway as a single entry point to discover research outputs relevant to the domain of Heritage Science. OpenAIRE will offer a MONITOR dashboard with a set of configurable indicators and the tools required to define the identification criteria of research products accountable to the infrastructure.
The metadata records of the identified products will be made openly available via the OpenAIRE AP1 and via Zenodo. OpenAIRE will update the content available via the two tools according to the updated Schedule of the OpenAIRE Research Graph. IPERION HS will be responsible for defining the identification criteria using the tools provided by OpenAIRE and for validating the outcome of the text-mining algorithm developed by the OpenAIRE team. IPERION HS will use the MONITOR dashboard for tracking/reporting purposes, providing the OpenAIRE team with any useful feedback on functionality and possible enhancements.
