Our partnerships
OpenAIRE and Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia Library System
By co-developing OpenAIRE Guidelines and fostering open access practices, this partnership aims to build a global network for sharing open science infrastructure, improving the accessibility and trustworthiness of research. Through this three-year initiative, OpenAIRE and NSLC will enrich academic collaboration and strengthen global open science practices.
The collaboration between OpenAIRE and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) has the goal of enhancing the implementation of open science practices and establishing a sustainable scholarly communication infrastructure.
Key aspects of the collaboration include:
1. Open Science Performance Tracking: OpenAIRE will offer UNIMORE an Institutional Monitoring Dashboard to track and analyze the institution's open science activities, particularly in relation to open access publications and research data management. This dashboard will be customized and tested in consultation with both parties to ensure accuracy and relevance.
2. Data Source Integration: UNIMORE will provide OpenAIRE with detailed information on the data sources (repositories, open access journals, etc.) used by the institution. These data sources will be integrated into the OpenAIRE Research Graph, enhancing the quality and transparency of the information available in the institutional dashboard.
3. OpenAIRE Services: The collaboration includes support for the use of OpenAIRE's services, such as the Content Provider Dashboard, and the exploration of other tools like Usage Counts to improve the quality of metrics and open science indicators.
4. Customization and Quality Control: Both parties will work closely to review the data, identify gaps, and make necessary adjustments through expert consultations. The collaboration will culminate in a public-facing dashboard, showcasing UNIMORE's open science contributions.
