Our partnerships
OpenAIRE and European Environment Agency Collaboration
By co-developing OpenAIRE Guidelines and fostering open access practices, this partnership aims to build a global network for sharing open science infrastructure, improving the accessibility and trustworthiness of research. Through this three-year initiative, OpenAIRE and NSLC will enrich academic collaboration and strengthen global open science practices.
OpenAIRE supports the Open Access and Open Science Policies of the European Environment Agency (EEA) funder organisation to link projects, authers, institutions, funding information, publications and data-sets. OpenAIRE processes all funding data according to its Data Management Plan. With this information, OpenAIRE offers to EEA a unique view of the scientific outputs that derive from funding.
OpenAIRE enables advanced monitoring (including of compliance with Open Access policies), reporting and analysis of research impact and research trend. The EEA can access the impact of their funding by viewing advanced statistics on research outputs ( publications and data-sets) and the funding programme/stream/project from which they derive (including co-funded research result and result trends).
