OpenAIRE partners with the Open Science MOOC

Apr 4, 2019

OpenAIRE is excited to announce the partnership with the Open Science MOOC!

Mark Hooper 2The Open Science MOOC is designed to help equip students and researchers with the skills they need to excel in a modern research environment. It brings together the efforts and resources of hundreds of researchers and practitioners who have all dedicated their time and experience to create a community platform to help propel research forward. The MOOC consists of 10 core modules; each module will comprise a complete range of resources including videos, research articles, dummy datasets and code, as well as ‘homework’ tasks to complete as individuals.

The volunteer-run project started in early 2017 and is currently developing its first module: Open Research Software and Open Source. Everybody is invited to create, comment, contribute and share. This extends to all modules; to get started, take a look at the Open Science MOOC GitHub repository. Join >150 volunteers and share your knowledge and enthusiasm for Open Science!
