OpenAIRE and Aurora Universities Network collaboration

The collaboration between OpenAIRE and the Latvian Council of Science will focus on:
  • OpenAIRE providing services to the Latvian Council Of Science for onboarding a Data Management Plan/Outputs Management Plan (DMP/OMP) template corresponding to the Latvian Council of Science (LCS) policy in ARGOS.
The agreement's objective is to onboard a(n) DMP/OMP template corresponding to the Latvian Council of Science (LCS) policy in the OpenAIRE service ARGOS and make it available for use by the national (Latvian) research and academic communities.

OpenAIRE and Aurora teams collaborate to classify research output by SDG goals and SDG targets. Both teams have the opportunity to learn from each other and use the outcome of the collaboration to provide new functionalities like SDG-oriented discovery of research output and statistics on Open Science and SDGs.

OpenAIRE offers a CONNECT gateway as a single entry-point to all research outputs of the Aurora Universities. By becoming OpenAIRE compliant, Aurora repositories will ensure their outputs are available in the gateway and counted for statistics to measure the uptake of Open Science practices (e.g. Open Access, links between publications and datasets).

In addition, Aurora repositories have the possibility to use other services for Open Science offered by OpenAIRE via the Content Provider Dashboard.
