Stone stability in breakwater toes based on local hydraulic conditions

Peters, R.B.M. (Ruben) (2014)
Publisher: TU Delft, Section Hydraulic Engineering
Experiment data and video files of the Master thesis, which focussed on the point of incipient motion in breakwater toes based on the local hydraulic conditions (pressures, velocities). Flume experiments were performed during which the pressures under several target stones were measured. The flow velocity and water height above the toe have also been measured.

Environmental permit application process (‘WABO’), CoSeLoG project – Municipality 4

Buijs, J.C.A.M. (2014)
Publisher: Eindhoven University of Technology
This data originates from the CoSeLoG project executed under NWO project number 638.001.211. Within the CoSeLoG project the (dis)similarities between several processes of different municipalities in the Netherlands has been investigated. This data is part of a collection of 5 event logs that record the execution of a building permit application process in five different anonymous municipalities. The recording of these processes is comparable which means that activity labels in the different e...

Global potential hydropower locations

Hoes O.A.C. (2014)
Publisher: TU-Delft
The dataset contains all potential hydropower plant locations for micro to large hydropower plants based on the GMTED2010 breakline dataset (elevation) and runoff data from the Global Runoff Data Centre.

BPI Challenge 2014: Change details

van Dongen, B.F. (2014)
Publisher: Rabobank Nederland
BPI Challenge 2014. This particular file contains the records relating to changes

3D Cell Phenotyping Data

Meerman, J.H.N. (John) (Associate Professor) (2014)
Publisher: Leiden University
The publication describes how, in many situations, 3D cell cultures mimic the natural organization of tissues more closely than 2D cultures. Conventional methods for phenotyping such 3D cultures use either single or multiple simple parameters based on morphology and fluorescence staining intensity. However, due to their simplicity many details are not taken into account which limits system-level study of phenotype characteristics. The authors have developed a new image analysis platform to au...

Annotated images of the Dutch coast

Hoonhout, B.M. (Bas); Radermacher, M. (Max) (2014)
Publisher: Delft University of Technology
188 images of the Dutch coast taken during the summer of 2013 at 4 different locations. The images are segmented into 600 superpixels using the SLIC algorithm. The superpixels are subsequently annotated in the classes sky, water (sea), water (pool), sand (beach), sand (dune), vegetation, object (sea), object (beach) and object (dune). The dataset can be used to train, validate and test coastal image classification algorithms like Logistic Regressors, Support Vector Machines or Conditional Ran...

Receipt phase of an environmental permit application process (‘WABO’), CoSeLoG project

Measurement uncertainties in quantifying aeolian mass flux: evidence from wind tunnel and field site data.

Ate Poortinga; Geert Sterk; Saskia Visser (2014)
Publisher: Wageningen University
This dataset contains data from two different studies on aeolian sediment transport. The first study was conducted in Dori, Burkina Faso, the second at Ameland, the Netherlands. The first dataset contains data from a degraded (deg), dune and valley site for 11 events. The second dataset contains data of 18 catchers for 6 different events.

BPI Challenge 2014

van Dongen, B.F. (2014)
Publisher: Rabobank Nederland
BPI Challenge 2014: Similar to other ICT companies, Rabobank Group ICT has to implement an increasing number of software releases, while the time to market is decreasing. Rabobank Group ICT has implemented the ITIL-processes and therefore uses the Change-proces for implementing these so called planned changes. Rabobank Group ICT is looking for fact-based insight into sub questions, concerning the impact of changes in the past, to predict the workload at the Service Desk and/or IT Operations a...
