Oligoanthranilamides. Non-Peptide Subunits That Show Formation of Specific Secondary Structure

A family of novel oligomers based on the anthranilamide nucleus has been prepared and shown to form well-defined secondary structural features. 1H NMR and X-ray crystallographic techniques have demonstrated that intramolecular hydrogen bonds play a key role in stabilizing both linear sheet and helical conformational forms.

Single spin asymmetries and invariant cross-sections of the high transverse momentum inclusive pi0 production in 200-GeV/c p p and anti-p p interactions

Fermilab. Measurement of pi0 inclusive and semi-inclusive, single-spin asymmetries using transversely polarized, 200 GeV/c proton and anti-proton beams colliding with an unpolarized hydrogen target.

Algorithmic aspects of constrained unit disk graphs

Breu, Heinz (1996)
Publisher: The University of British Columbia
Computational problems on graphs often arise in two- or three-dimensional geometric contexts. Such problems include assigning channels to radio transmitters (graph colouring), physically routing traces on a printed circuit board (graph drawing), and modelling molecules. It is reasonable to expect that natural graph problems have more efficient solutions when restricted to such geometric graphs. Unfortunately, many familiar NPcomplete problems remain NP-complete on geometric graphs. Indi...

Measurement of dijet angular distributions at CDF

Fermilab-Collider. Measurement of the di-jet angular distributions in proton-antiproton collisions at sqrt(s) 1.8 TeV. Data come from an integrated luminosity of 106pb-1 taken during the 1992-95 running periods. Data are presented in terms of the variable & apos;CHI& apos; which is defined as CHI=EXP(ABS(ETARAP(1)-ETARAP(2))) where ETARAP(1) and ETARAP(2) are the pseudorapidities of the two leading jets.
