Measurement of the fraction of hadronic Z decays into charm quark pairs

CERN-LEP. Measurement of the fraction of hadronic Z0 decays (R_c) with charm quark pairs using a sample of 3.7 million hadronic decays collected between 1992 and 1995. R is determined by three methods, one using the inclusive electron spectrum and the other two using a double-tagging technique which is independent of the charm tagging efficiency. The average value is quoted here.

A Measurement of the total cross-section for e+ e- ---> hadrons at s**(1/2) = 10.52-GeV

CORNELL-CESR. Measurement of R at centre-of-mass energy 10.52 GeV and derivation of ALPHA_S.

Measurement of dijet angular distributions and search for quark compositeness

FERMILAB-COLLIDER. Measurement of the angular distribution of dijets produced in pbar-p collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 1.8 TeV. Data come from anintegrated luminosity of 94pb-1 collected buring 1993-95. The variable CHI is defined as:. CHI=(1+ABS(COS(THETA*)))/(1-ABS(COS(THETA*))). = EXP(ABS(ETARAP(JET1)-ETARAP(JET2))). where THETA* is the cm scattering angle and ETARAP the jets pseudorapidity.

Global River Discharge, 1807-1991, V[ersion]. 1.1 (RivDIS)

VOROSMARTY, C.J.; Fekete, B.M.; TUCKER, B.A. (1998)
Publisher: ORNL Distributed Active Archive Center
The Global Monthly River Discharge Data Set contains monthly averaged discharge measurements for 1018 stations located throughout the world. The period of record varies widely from station to station with a mean of 21.5 years. The data are derived from the published UNESCO archives for river discharge, and checked against information obtained from the Global Runoff Center in Koblenz, Germany through the U.S. National Geophysical Data Center in Boulder, Colorado. Citation: Vorosmarty, C.J., B...

Search for top squark pair production in the dielectron channel

FNAL-COLLIDER. Search for top squark pair production in the dielectron channel. 74.9 +- 8.9 1/pb integrated luminosity.

Measurement of the t distribution in diffractive photoproduction at HERA

DESY-HERA. Measurement of the T distribution in diffractive photoproductionproduced in the interaction of 27.5 GeV positrons and 820 GeV protons, in the p hoton-proton centre-of-mass energy range 176 to 225 GeV. Numerical values supplied by A Garfagnini.

The role of double parton collisions in soft hadron interactions

FERMILAB-TEVATRON. Measurement of the charged particle multiplicity distribution at centre-of mass energies fom 30 to 1800 GeV. The data coded here are for the 1800 GeV data. Numerical values obtained from the experimenters.

Measuring the Adjusted Monetary Base in an Era of Financial Change

Anderson, Richard G.; Robert H. Rasche (1998)
Publisher: ICPSR - Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research
This research presents a revised measure of the monetary base and a new reserve adjustment magnitude (RAM).

Regulation, Market Structure, and the Bank Failures of the Great Depression

David C. Wheelock (1998)
Publisher: ICPSR - Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research
The data collection covers state and federal banking policies that contributed to interstate differences in bank failure rates during the Great Depression.

Measurement of the light anti-quark flavor asymmetry in the nucleon sea

FNAL E866/NuSea Collaboration. Measurement of Drell-Yan muon pair production with an 800 GeV proton beam incident on hydrogen and deuterium targets. The production cross section ratio is presented from which the light antiquark flavor asymmetry in the nucleon sea is determined.
