  • Identities involving some new special polynomials arising from the applications of fractional calculus

Aracı, Serkan; Şen, Erdoǧan; Açıkgöz, Mehmet; Oruçoǧlu, Kamil (2015)
Inspired by a number of recent investigations, we introduce the new analogues of the Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials and the Apostol-Euler polynomials, the Apostol-Genocchi polynomials based on Mittag-Leffler function. Making use of the Caputo-fractional derivative, we derive some new interesting identities of these polynomials. It turns out that some known results are derived as special cases.

Orbito-frontal cortex and thalamus volumes in the patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder before and after cognitive behavioral therapy

Atmaca, Murad; Yıldırım, Hanefi; Yılmaz, Seda; Çağlar, Neslihan; Mermi, Osman; Korkmaz, Sevda; Akaslan, Ünsal; Gürok, M. Gürkan; Kekilli, Yasemin; Türkçapar, Hakan (2016)
Background The effect of a variety of treatment modalities including psychopharmacological and cognitive behavioral therapy on the brain volumes and neurochemicals have not been investigated enough in the patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Therefore, in the present study, we aimed to investigate the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the volumes of the orbito-frontal cortex and thalamus regions which seem to be abnormal in the patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder. We h...

Yapı tasarımında kurumlar arası iş prosesleri için bir IDM tabanlı birlikte çalışabilirlik (Interoperability) spesifikasyonu

    Arayıcı, Yusuf; Fernando, T.; Munoz, V.; Bassanino, M. (2016)
Erken tasar...

On a q-analog of some numbers and polynomials

Aracı, Serkan; Ağyüz, Erkan; Açıkgöz, Mehmet (2015)
In this paper, we introduce new q-analogs of the Changhee numbers and polynomials of the first kind and of the second kind. We also derive some new interesting identities related to the Stirling numbers of the first kind and of the second kind, the Euler polynomials of higher order and the q-analogs of Euler polynomials by applying the p-adic integrals method and some summation transform techniques. It turns out that some well-known results are derived as special cases.

Optimızing handover of as-built data using bim for highways

Bayar, M.Sanem; Aziz, Zeeshan; Tezel, Algan; Arayıcı, Yusuf; Biscaya, Sara (2016)
An efficient maintenance of the UK’s transportation network is of critical importance to the country’s economy and among the top priorities of the government and public agencies (e.g. Network Rail, Highways England). The public transportation agencies have huge data sets related to asset management and maintenance. However, those data sets are usually held in disparate platforms and have been historically developed using multiple standards and formats. As a result, full value of such data is ...
