    V této práci byl proveden výzkum jevu die drool pro HDPE s využitím specifického experimentálního uspořádání vytlačovací linky, obrazové analýzy a reologických technik. Bylo zjištěno, že termálně indukovaná degradace způsobuje nárust elasticity taveniny HDPE, což výrazně zvyšuje intenzitu negativního jevu die drool.
