A contemporary teacher faces quite difficult challenges. The reality which is still changing has caused the growth of requirements regarding the learners and the weariness when it comes to the monotony of school classes. That is why the teachers, if they still want to enjoy the children’s respect, should search for new teaching methods and didactic means, which would evoke interest and increase their creative activity. Innovation is there when something new is introduced and improved in the field of education in order to raise the quality of work and to achieve possibly best didactic and educational results. But still, not every pedagogical action which is new and original deserves to be called the pedagogical innovation. Its elementary features are: clearly specified aims of action, planning, assessing the effects of action, preparing the list of people who take part in it and predicting material aids, working out some testing tools.
