Scientific problem of this study is wood-processing possibility of semi-finished products which are waste in the production of fiberboard and their use in full in the primary production.The paper presents the results of wood waste study from the preparation of sliding machines in order to their further use in finished plate products. The object of study of this paper is wood-waste fiber board production. The subject of research is physical phenomena and processes that characterize the process of secondary wood-processing semi-finished products.The accuracy of the results is provided by the use of modern complex of complementary physical, statistical and mathematical methods of research, as well as laboratory and production tests, making numerous experiments, a high convergence of the calculated and experimental results, coordinated approach to the process of preparation of wood materials with general scientific terms, the statistical processing of the research results. In order to justify the choice of grinding plant for the preparation of secondary wood-fiber semi-finished products, qualitative and quantitative evaluation: the morphological characteristics of the fiber and the physical and mechanical properties of the finished product on the technological and design parameters of the selected installation have been designed and implemented an active multifactorial experiment according to B-plan of the second order.Studies have shown that you can use in the manufacture of chipboard wet pressmassy composition in a ratio of 95% primary fiber and 5% waste odds. As a result of fiberboard has a flexural strength 41 MPa and water absorption of 22,6%, which corresponds to GOST 4598-86. Using grinding installation 4 MR reduced pumping costs 8–10 mass% and less cost elektroinergiyu 5–8%
