Дендрофлора города Актобе насчитывает 71 видов и форм, относящихся к 40 родам и 18 семействам. Доминирующими по числу видов являются семейства Rosaceae, Salicaceae, и Pinaceae. Их суммарное участие в составе дендрофлоры г. Актобе - 56,3%. Основу озеленения города составляют 7 видов деревьев: Populus tremula, Ulmus pinnato-ramosa, U. scabra, U.Laevis, Acer negundo, Caragana arborescens, Syringa vulgaris. Из кустарников чаще встречаются шиповники гололистый, рыхлый и вишня кустарниковая. Во время исследований были выявлены инфекционные заболевания деревьев и кустарников. В 12 видах деревьев и кустарников было обнаружено 17 видов грибов. Наиболее распространенными заболеваниеми являются мучнистая роса, ржавчина и пятнистости, а наиболее поражаемые виды Ulmus pinnato-ramosa, Acer negundo, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Populus nigra.
