It was established, that the reaction of sulfation of betulin by chlorosulfonic acid in dioxane or dimethylformamide proceeds in homogeneous medium at temperature 40–60 °C. It was shown that for complete etherification of betilin to betulin 3,28-disulfat 4–5 hours are necessary. Betilin disulfat was obtained in the form of sodium salt.
