This article presents the results of the analysis of trace elements (Cu, Ni, Mn, Zn, Mg, Fe, Cr, Co, Na, Pb, As, Cd, Hg) and antioxidants in the popular varieties and grades of tea. Significant differences in the levels, the elements in the samples of tea. Indicators of the maximum permissible level of cadmium and lead were not exceeded. Mercury and arsenic in samples of tea were found. The dependence is not the content of elements and antioxidants on the type and brand of tea. The correlation between levels of certain elements and antioxidants in tea and the necessity of a joint analysis of these parameters in the study of plants.
