The adsorption capacity of high-moor peat has been investigated. It was shown that the greatest efficiency has a composition consisting of fat-free peat with a particle size of 0,5–0,2 mm and 50% aqueous solution of lactulose in the following proportions – 85 and 15% wt. respectively. This modified powder preparation from peat does not yield to medical sorbent with similar chemical nature and composition in relation to adsorption of investigated marker.
