Subjects: QD1-999, Q, Chemistry, Science, cranberry (Vaccinium oxycoccus L.), latitude, antioxidant activity, total phenolics, absorbance at 515 nm, клюква обыкновенная (Vaccinium oxycoccus L.), широта, антиоксидантная активность, общие фенолы, поглощение при 515 нм
As a result of investigations it was found that the antioxidant activity of aqueous extract of cranberry fruit is mainly determined by quantities of phenolic compounds, absorbing at 515 nm. The content of antioxidants in the cranberries does not change during storage of fruits at -18 °C for two years. The AOA of cranberry, collected in different regions of the Komi Republic, does not depend on the latitude of its habitat.
