Изучены содержание биологически активных веществ и антиоксидантная активность Agastache rugosa, A. pringlei, A. foeniculum, A. urticifolia, A. mexicana, культивируемых в условиях Среднего Урала. Значительную часть биологически активных веществ составляют сапонины (до 20,75%), дубильные вещества (до 17,45%) и каротиноиды (до 330 мг%). Суммарное содержание антиоксидантов фенольной природы в исследуемых видах составляет до 1,75 мг/г в листьях (A. rugosa), 1,11 мг/г – в соцветиях (A. rugosa), 0,97 мг/г – в стеблях (A. foeniculum).
