The peculiarities of thin-film structure of surface layers of martensitic steel, created in various parts of Hertz contact of the friction pair at the influencing of zinc dithiophosphate, are studied by the optical, SEM and AES methods. It is shown, the act of phosphorus and zinc on carbide transformation of steel is contrary to sulfur and carbon atoms. Досліджено особливості тонкоплівкої будови поверхневих шарів сталі мартенситного класу, утворених під впливом дитіофосфату цинку на різних ділянкахгерцівського контакту пари тертя.
