I was given this book to review recently while visiting Oulu, and have read it cover to cover by the time I landed at Toronto. This indicates what a great storyteller Robert Fortuine is, and the story of the rise and not quite fall of tuberculosis in Alaska is a great story indeed.(Int J Circumpolar Health 2005; 64(5):536-537)
