I Maria Parrs roman Tonje Glimmerdal (2009) er det lagt inn en rekke tydelige referanser til en av de mest kjente klassikerne innenfor barnelitteraturen, nemlig Johanna Spyris Heidi (1880). Artikkelen tar for seg det intertekstuelle samspillet mellom de to bøkene, i dette tilfellet oppfattet som en adaptasjon av et bestemt, eldre verk. In her novel, Tonje Glimmerdal (2009), Maria Parr makes many obvious references to one of the children’s book classics, Johanna Spyris Heidi (1880). The article investigates the intertextual relationship between those two books, proposing that this relationship can be read as a case of adaptation.
