This investigation, (the 2004 Dorset-Hampshire survey) a follow-up to Hankinson (1987), (the 1987 Dorset-Hampshire survey) is an examination of price determination in a sample of 56 small engineering firms in the Dorset-Hampshire region of England during the period 2000-2004. The work is a critical survey of pricing decision making in the sample firms under review, and\ud an assessment of small firms’ pricing improvement, if any, over the 17-year\ud period 1987 to 2004.
